Willy Wonka is world famous and his chocolate is the most popular among young and old alike. But he hasn't been seen in public for a long time. So the excitement is all the greater when he hides five golden tickets in his bars of delicious chocolate. These tickets allow the holder to visit his mysterious factory for a day. Charlie, whose parents are poor and live in a crooked house in the shadow of the factory, is very lucky and finds one of these tickets – the ticket to Willy Wonka's strange kingdom!
