Momo
-
The orphan girl Momo lives alone with her turtle Cassiopeia in a huge amphitheater and has many friends. But one day, no one has any time anymore. Everyone is obsessed with the idea of saving unused time for a longer life. Mysterious gray gentlemen with briefcases want to steal people's time with convoluted contracts and use it for their own purposes. With the help of her turtle and an hour flower, Momo confronts the time thieves.
The film adaptation of Michael Ende's novel brings its timeless message to the screen with poetic imagery and atmospheric power.
