Following No Other Land, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor—the Israeli members of the directing collective—return with a new, highly topical documentary. Filmed at night from the rooftops of Tel Aviv, the documentary examines the civilian casualties of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip as well as the structures behind the targeted killings of Palestinians. Over the course of three years, Abraham and Szor spoke with members of the Israeli military and intelligence services. Twenty-four Israeli intelligence officers and soldiers speak anonymously in the film; their voices and appearances have been digitally altered. Their statements form the basis for an investigation into the military structures, decision-making processes, and technologies behind Israel’s warfare in Gaza.

The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where it received a 25-minute standing ovation and was awarded the Special Jury Prize.
