With TRIP TO THE MOON, the magician and film pioneer Georges Méliès created one of the very first science fiction films at the beginning of the 20th century. The 16-minute film shows numerous stage techniques and visual tricks of the early film, from cross-fades to fireworks effects to stop-motion tricks, as well as elaborately designed sets, fascinating dummies and, last but not least, an amazing number of actors with original costumes.

Following the screening in the cinema, we will invent - inspired by the film - imaginative flying objects and amazing aliens in the Wolf Studio, which we will bring to life as shadow figures on a huge lunar landscape.
