20 Years of filmArche - Festival Programme

filmArche, Europe's largest self-organised film school, is celebrating its 20th anniversary and inviting to an extensive, multi-day anniversary programme to mark the occasion. Part of the programme is taking place at Wolf on Saturday 8 July: In the cinema, outstanding short and medium-length films of all genres made at the school will be screened (Silver Block), as well as a selection of works by female and queer filmmakers from Iran. Accompanying this, there will be the panel discussion Visions of Change - Cinema as resistance in Iran with Iranian-born filmmakers and activists in the studio, as well as a pitching session. All film enthusiasts and filmmakers are welcome to come by, network and participate in the events. All films have english subtitles, panels will take place in english language. Due to the support of the Goethe-Institut in cooperation with the German Foreign Office, the entry fee is only 5 euros per programme/event.
