Is it possible to capture the soul of a city in a two-hour film? This is a question that troubled and inspired the filmmakers of In the Last Days of the City - آخر أيام المدينة for an entire decade. In this workshop, director Tamer El Said will share the story of the journey he took to make his debut film, which is marked by improvisation, doubts and vulnerability. Amélie Legrand and Victor Moïse, the film’s composers, will join Tamer for an improvised session where they will create alternative music for the film. An insight into the search for images and sounds that capture the soul of Cairo.
